1st Provisional Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia was enrolled between 17 March 1863 and 20 July 1863. They were ordered into service between 17 March 1863 and 20 July 1863. The Regiment was discharged between 30 June 1863 and 3 February 1864. The Colonel in charge was ;Joseph B. (J.B.) Douglass.[1]

Company G - Captain Freeborn E. Bartlett - Many men from Williamsburg, Callaway County
Company H - Captains Isaac L. Snedecar and William T. Snell - Many men from Fulton, Callaway County
Company I - Captain William C. Allison - Many men from Louisiana, Pike County
Company K - Captains Samuel M. Culley and Francis T. Russell - Many men from Columbia, Boone County
Company L - Captain John F. Hackmann - Many men from St. Charles, St. Charles County
Company M - Captain Thomas P. B. Gilstrap - Many men from Macon, Macon County
Unassigned Company - 2nd Lieutenant Andrew Schultz - Many men from Wentzville, St. Charles County
