BARHAM (St. John the Baptist), a parish, in the union of Bridge, hundred of Kinghamford, lathe of St. Augustine, E division of Kent, 6½ miles SE by S from Canterbury.

Barham St John the Baptist was originally a chapel of ease in Bishopsbourne, Kent Genealogy Ancient parish but became an ecclesiastical parish in the Diocese of Canterbury in 1846; a map of the parish boundary is available at A Church near you .
