Brief History[edit | edit source]

Braintree was chartered on August 1, 1781 by the Vermont State Legislature. Braintree includes the places of Braintree Center, Braintree Hill, East Braintree, West Braintree, Peth and Snowsville. The population was 1,246 at the 2010 census.  [1]  [2]
