Parish History[edit | edit source]

Brinkhill St Philip is an Ancient Parish.

The present church was built by Maughan and Fowler in 1857 and replaced the mediaeval church.

The parish registers begin in 1562.

The Wesleyan Methodist chapel was rebuilt in 1873.


BRINKHILL (St. Philip), a parish, in the union of Spilsby, hundred of Hill, parts of Lindsey, county of Lincoln, 6½ miles (N. N. W.) from Spilsby. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.[1]
