Updates and follow up[edit | edit source]

  • Our meetings are going to be getting more participants.  We need to manage the noise that comes from that.  We ask that everyone go on mute and go off mute to ask a question or give feedback. 
  • All recordings for Community and Support meetings are added.
  • New Indexing website
  • Wiki text class (HTML 5)  given by Charles 12:00 PM Mountain every Monday 0000. 
  • FireFox will import Chrome bookmarks
  • please do not use Internet Explorer as it messes up formating
  • Tech Meeting today at 2:00 PM Mountain.  ID:  0000
  • possibly light color (such as pale yellow) behind non-current tabs
  • a link offered to patrons to allow to be seen using an old format - legacy issues might become clumbersome for maintanence
  • clickable map for locations (under a new design format)
    • Program is in place to have personal contact with new contributors in 2014
    • Feb 10th 2pm meeting for helping new contributors.Google doc
    • Google Chrome issues -headquarters help Skype chat - go through Robin. Headquarters CHQ Chat - talk directly to engineers and developers. Robin can put someone in that chat, or email Robin to have her put you in. The 24 hour support fell apart over the weekend - it went to voicemail.
    • Suggestion... scroll across the top... THE WIKI IS NOT WORKING USING CHROME as a dismissable message.

How would you suggest we move forward with Adopters? 

  • Should the program be continued?
  • Where to point adopters to receive updated infromation? If so, how do you see it being run, processes?
  • Other feedback?
    • we should look to get feedback from the past and current adoptors and see what they liked/didn't like

Janell had shared a google doc on how to move forward. Please have the Comm Council talk about the Adopter program overall. Robin to post on CC agenda

Useability testing will happen this Saturday - testing how well wiki helps consultants, giving them tasks for helping patrons, "Does the wiki supply you the support you need to help others".  Only Washington pages being used for this Saturday.
