Ightenhill is a civil parish, and a district of Burnley in Lancashire, England

History[edit | edit source]

Ightenhill Park is a former township.

Ightenhill Park lies on the south and south-west sides of the River Calder, and has an area of 760 acres. It was formerly accounted extra-parochial, as being in the Castle parish of Clitheroe. The hamlet anciently known as Ightenhill lay to the south of the park, within Habergham Eaves, near the present Whittlefield and Gannow.
