Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question #1: Are birthplaces correct in this collection?
Answer #1: In many records in this collection, the residence of the bride and groom were inadvertently indexed as birthplaces. There is no mention of Birthplace on the certificate – only the use of the word “of” to show a location for the bride and groom. To verify this, you may view the films at the Family History Library or some FamilySearch Centers. We recommend you call ahead and verify that the Center has the equipment for viewing films and their hours of operation. The film # can be found on the record details page of the person you are searching.
