Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question #1: I am looking for the records from the Pomeroy Precinct in Calhoun County. Are they available?
Answer #1: Image 5 on DGS 4939576 has a disclaimer saying the records are exclusive of Pomeroy and Jolley in the Butler Township in Calhoun County. No records are available for this Precinct.

Question #2: My ancestor has been combined with the wrong family. Can I find the correct family?
Answer #2: There are instances where the indexer incorrectly combined the families. Usually the record details page links to the correct image. If you find discrepancies, you can look at the image to see the correct household associations. The enumerator made a systematic error in the records from Ringgold > Clinton, Redding > Images 4 through 25. The family identification is off by one line, resulting in all families with incorrect members
