Llansanffraid Glan Conwy, usually abbreviated to Glan Conwy, is a village, community and ecclesiastical parish on the banks of the Afon Conwy in the County Borough of Conwy, Wales Genealogy, Wales.
Before 1974 the village was in the historic county of Denbighshire and, between 1874 and 1996 in the County of Gwynedd, Wales Genealogy. In 1996 it became part of the modern County Borough of Conwy, Wales Genealogy.

"LLANSANFRAID- GLAN-CONWAY, otherwised DISERTH, a parish in the hundred of Isdulas, county of Denbigh, 3 miles (S.E. by E.) from Aberconway, containing 1306 inhabitants. This parish is situated in the pleasant vale of Conway: the village stands on the eastern bank of the river, on the road from Aberconway to Llanrwst, within five miles of the Irish Sea. ... The church, dedicated to St. Bridget, is a spacious edifice, consisting of a nave, chancel, and south aisle, with two good east windows, containing some elegant remains of ancient stained glass.
