Note[edit | edit source]

Note: Many of the marriage records and a few death records in this collection that have information on the front and back of the record have been filmed with the back side first, hence, when viewing a record you will need to check both the previous and next image to correctly locate the back side. These can be confirmed by comparing parent’s last names, the handwriting or typewritten documents, etc.

Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question 1[edit | edit source]

Question 1: In the waypoint of Maine, Vital Records, 1670-1907 > Vital records 1892-1907, there seems to be a gap in the records from Walport to Walters. Are there records available between these?
Answer 1: You can find records that fit between Walport and Walters, i.e Walsh, in the record type Delayed returns for vital records 1670-1891, and Vital records prior to 1892 waypoints. There are also records in the Wedeberg-Wentworth waypoints with the Walsh name that were filed with the name Welch.
