Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question 1[edit | edit source]

Question 1: The browse path only includes Film Number (Digital Folder Number). How can I find the records I am looking for?
Answer 1: See FamilySearch_Historical_Record_Collections#DGS_Browse DGS Browse

Question 2[edit | edit source]

Question 2: The record detail page is linked to the wrong image. How can I find the correct image? Answer 2: From the record detail page, use either the Event Date, Event Place, or Film Number, or a combination of any of the search criteria, to find the correct image by clicking the right or left scroll arrow. There are waypoints in this collection where the browse function is not currently operational (“Oops” error message, or the browse is not sequential). Until this functionality is restored, refer to the record detail page to find the correct microfilm to order.

Question 3[edit | edit source]

Question 3: Why do some Film Number (Digital Folder Number) waypoints have other record types when the collection is for marriage records?
Answer 3: Often microfilms contain mixed record types. Look up the film number in the Catalog to determine what addition record types you can encounter.

Question 4[edit | edit source]

Question 4: Some records do not include all the parental information. Where can the parental information be found?
Answer 4: Some of the marriage records are on two images. Click the right or left scroll arrow to view complete parental information.
