Question 1: Some records are missing. Where can the records be viewed?
Answer 1: See answers below for information about known missing records and respective film numbers, if available, or alternate online location:

  • Salinas > Nuestro Padre Jesús > Bautismos 1822-1838 > Image 252 of 633 should contain page 114. The records are available on Film 708220 and are indexed in Mexico, Baptisms, 1560-1950.

Question 2: The Event Type and Year Range (waypoint) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. How can I determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer 2: The list of known waypoint discrepancies describes the event type or year range existing in the collection:

  •  Bocas > San Gerónimo > Bautismos 1802-1839, 1849-1879 are actually Matrimonios 1802-1839, 1849-1879.
  • Matehuala > Inmaculada Concepción > Bautismos 1793-1794 year span should be 1773-1794
  • Matehuala > Inmaculada Concepción > Defunciones 1795-1803 year span should be 1795-1808.
  • Matehuala > Inmaculada Concepción > Bautismos 1839-1896 year span should be 1893-1896.
  • San Luis Potosí > Sagrario > Bautismos 1703-1708, 1711-1723 year span should be 1681-1708, 1711-1723
  • San Luis Potosí > San Miguelito and San Miguelito > San Miguel both contain records for the same place. The correct place name is San Luis Potosí > San Miguelito.
  • Venado > San Sebastián > Información matrimonial 1841-1865 should read as Defunciones 1861-1864, 1847-1850.
  • In the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí, there are four (4) parishes in San Luis Potosí called Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.
