Brief History[edit | edit source]

Morristown was chartered on August 24, 1781 by the Vermont Legislature.  Morristown is the largest town by population in Lamoille County, and its central village of Morrisville serves as the county's main commercial center. The population was 5,227 at the 2010 census. [1]  [2]
