  • 6th Regiment, New York Cavalry
    Mustered in September through December 1861
    Consolidated with 15th New York Cavalry June 17, 1865, to form 2nd Regiment Provisional Cavalry.

    Organized at Westfield and Albany, N. Y., September 9 to November 19, 1861.
    to Washington, D. C., May --. Grand Review May 23. Mustered out July 17, 1865, and honorably discharged from service.
  • 9th Regiment, New York Infantry (New)
    Organized at Auburn, N. Y., as the 138th Regiment New York Infantry and mustered in September 8, 1862
    Moved to Washington, D. C. Corps Review June 8. Consolidated to four Companies June 27, 1865, and transferred to 2nd New York Heavy Artillery
  • 10th Regiment, New York Infantry
    Organized by consolidation of 4th, 5th and 7th Battalions of Black River Artillery December 31, 1862
    Recruits transferred to 6th New York Heavy Artillery.

  • 11th Regiment, New York Heavy Artillery
    Only four Companies organized. Left State for Harrisburg, Pa., June 24, 1863. Duty in the Dept. of the Susquehanna to July 10. Carlisle, Pa., July 1. New York Riots July 18-16. Stationed at Forts Richmond, Hamilton and at Sandy Hook, Dept. of the East, till July 25. Transferred to 4th New York Heavy Artillery as 3rd Battalion (Cos. "I," "K," "L" and "M") July 25, 1863
  • 11th Regiment, New York Cavalry
    Organized at New York City December, 1861, to May, 1862
    Mustered out at Memphis, Tenn., September 30, 1865, and honorably discharged from service.
  • 11th Regiment, New York Infantry
    Organized at New York City and mustered in May 7, 1861
    Men enlisted were transferred to the 17th New York Veteran Infantry October 1, 1863

  • 12th Regiment, New York Infantry
    Mustered in for two years' State service May 8, 1861
    Transferred to 5th New York Infantry June 2, 1864, as Companies "E" and "F."
