The site also has a link to the Australian Heritage Database that has been put in place by the Federal Australian Government.

Research assistance[edit | edit source]

They are happy to carry out research for people who cannot visit Clare. They try to answer promptly, but given that all members are volunteers, a busy tourist season or time to sow or harvest the wheat crop can cause delays. They aim to promise a maximum wait of two months.

The Group welcomes enquiries by mail, addressed to: The Research Officer, Clare Regional History Group, PO Box 6, Clare, South Australia 5453. Other contact details are given in "Contact details".

Please enclose a self-addressed envelope, and a donation towards the Group's work is always much appreciated. We currently charge $15 per hour for research carried out, or $3 per entry for BD&M entries transcribed (as at November 2010).
