Units 50th through 54th[edit | edit source]
- 50th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry
Was organized at Fort Donelson, Tennessee, in December, 1861.
During December, 1863, it totalled 90 men and 52 arms.
- 50th Consolidated Regiment, Tennessee Infantry (Confederate)
Was formed in February, 1864, by consolidating Colms' 1st Tennessee Battalion and the 50th (Old) Tennessee Regiment.
The regiment surrendered on April 26, 1865, with 37 men.
- 51st Regiment, Tennessee Infantry
Was organized at Henderson Station, Tennessee, in January, 1862,
Very few were included in the surrender on April 26, 1865.

- 52nd Regiment, Tennessee Infantry
Was organized in January, 1862, at Henderson Station, Tennessee,
At Chickamauga and in December, 1863, totalled 213 men and 134 arms. Only a remnant surrendered on April 26, 1865.
- 53rd Regiment, Tennessee Infantry
Was organized at Fort Donelson, Tennessee, during January, 1862.
Many were lost in the Atlanta Campaign and at Franklin and Nashville, and few surrendered on April 26, 1865.

Was assembled at Nashville, Tennessee, in February, 1862.
During April it was consolidated with the remnants of Voorhies' 48th Regiment to form Nixon's 48th Regiment.

- 55th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry (Brown's)
Also called 56th Regiment it was organized at Columbus, Kentucky, in February, 1862. Only a handful surrendered in April, 1865.
- 55th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry (McKoin's)
Was organized at Camp Weakley, near Nashville, Tennessee, in January, 1862.
It suffered heavy casualties and in April merged into the 44th Tennessee Infantry Regiment.

- 59th Regiment, Tennessee Mounted Infantry (Cooke's) (Eakin's 1st Battalion)
Was organized in June, 1862, using the 1st (Eakin's) Tennessee Infantry Battalion as its nucleus. During the spring of 1865 it disbanded in Southwestern Virginia.

- 60th Regiment, Tennessee Mounted Infantry (Crawford's) (79th Infantry)
This regiment was also called 79th Regiment and was organized at Haynesville, Tennessee, in October, 1862. It skirmished in Western Virginia and East Tennessee, then disbanded during the spring of 1865.
- 61st Regiment, Tennessee Mounted Infantry (Pitts') (81st Infantry)
This regiment was also called 81st Regiment and was organized at Henderson Mills, Tennessee, during October, 1862. At Georgia the unit disbanded during the spring of 1865.
- 62nd Regiment, Tennessee Mounted Infantry (Rowan's) (80th Infantry)
This regiment was also called 80th Regiment it was assembled in October, 1862. During the spring of 1865 it disbanded.
- 63rd Regiment, Tennessee Infantry (Fain's) (74th Infantry)
Was organized in July, 1862. At Drewry's Bluff the regiment reported 311effectives and on April 9, 1865, surrendered 4 officers and 57 men.
- 84th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry
Was organized at McMinnville, Tennessee, in December, 1862,. On March 8, 1863, the regiment was pronounced illegal by the War Department and lost its identity when united with the 28th Tennessee Infantry Regiment.

Was organized in 1842 as the 154th Tennessee Militia Regiment. Reorganized at Randolph, Shelby County, Tennessee, in May, 1861,
The unit was included in the surrender on April 26, 1865.
