Exercises, chapter 6-1

1. Where would you go or click to Print this page?

Go to Tools - Printable version - Select choices from you attached printer

2. If you wanted to upload an image, where would you click?

Within the Wiki, From the Left Toolbar, Select Tools - Select Upload Image - Takes you to a form. Fill in appropriate sections - Choose link, Select from source, Internet, cloud or computer - choose destination, follow directions

3. Where can I click to go to my Personal Sandbox?

There are multiple ways to enter the Sandbox. The simplest for me is the right, upper toolbar, Sandbox. Another is under Volunteer - Select Volunteer or helper - Tools - Personal Sandbox.

CHAPTER 6 - ...MAIN PAGE

Do these exercises from the main page of the Wiki.

  • Where would you click to be able to print this page? - Go to Printable Version and click. Then select the printer you have attached to this.
  • If you wanted to upload an image, where would you click? - Upload file or Image, under the Tools bar.
  • Where can I click to go to my personal main sandbox? Simplest for me is the top right, just past my login. It is also possible to go to the left side bar and select it from there
  • The left sidebar appears on the main page with all the same items as on other pages.
