Lynette "Lyn" Rasmussen[edit | edit source]

Lyn Rasmussen has enjoyed family history her entire life. Growing up in the Los Angeles area it was special time with Grandparents that influenced her interest in genealogy. Her grandfather, a great story teller, shared tales of his childhood in Eastern Arizona as the son of a rancher and deputy sheriff. The stories became “alive” when Lyn married a native Arizonian and moved there. This afforded her the opportunity to research her ancestors in archives and courthouses. She discovered land ownership, cattle brands, even trial records and prison time. Grandpa had not embellished the family stories!

Lyn and husband Bryce have four children and ten grandchildren. In her spare time (which is at a premium!) she enjoys reading, sewing, flower gardening and hiking the beautiful Wasatch Mountains that surround her home in Midway.
