Known Issues[edit | edit source]
NOTE: Some record detail pages include a message “No image available” rather than a link to an image. Whenever possible, FamilySearch makes images available for all users. However, ultimate rights to view images on our website are granted by the record custodians. FamilySearch respects and strives to adhere to all privacy laws respective to providing access to genealogical records.
Question #1: The browse path only includes Film Number (Digital Folder Number). How can I find the records I am looking for?
Answer #1: See Browsing images with film numbers as the browse points (53900).
Question #2: Why do some Film Number (Digital Folder Number) browse points have other record types when the collection is for marriage records?
Answer #2: Often microfilms contain mixed record types. Look up the film number in the Catalog to determine what addition record types you can encounter.
