Not to be confused with an earlier 1855 Arapahoe County, Kansas Territory created in what is now Colorado.

Arapahoe County, Kansas was merged into Finney County, Kansas Genealogy in 1883. In 1887 Finney county was divided and that portion which had formerly been Arapahoe County became the new Haskell County, Kansas.[1]

Arapahoe County was never organized, and no county seat is known to have existed.
