Not to be confused with Perkins (aka Swan Island) in Sagadahoc County.

Perkins is an extinct plantation, now an unorganized territory (township) in Franklin County, Maine. Perkins was set off from Plantation Number Four in 1858. Perkins Plantation surrendered this organization in 1901.[1]
