Thurs Dec 19, 2019 "Light your Family Tree" Special activities in the Family History Center from 12-7 pm. Learn how to attach pictures and memories to your ancestors on Family Search. Start a personal history and check the birth countries of your ancestors.

Includes a wide variety of book collections and valuable information of resources included in book format. These include New England History; individual states; Native American Indian Research; William Dollarhide's Maps to County Census in the Early Years of the USA; The Source Book; Crash Course in Family History, 4th ed. by Paul Larson; and many more.

FamilySearch Catalog: FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to 10 premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. These include Ancestry.com; Fold3.com; MyHeritage.com, Findmypast.com, Geneanet.org, NewspaperArchive.com and other resources.

Hardware and Equipment[edit | edit source]

Computers, Microfilm readers, Microfiche Readers, printers, copy machine, & microfilm/fiche copier. Microfilm records are no longer being sent to Family History Centers due to the rising cost of duplication and the lack of microfilm available. It is expected that all microfilm records will be digitized by the year 2020.
